There’s not one damn thing wrong with Wright. He served his country and earned the right to say anything he wants. He didn’t run for any office, and didnt ask for your consent.

Did Wright say something illegal? And how do you know the contents of his sermons over 20 years? What exactly did Wright say that wasn’t factual?
His supposed antipathy for America sure as hell didn’t stop him from giving up his college deferment and serving in the Navy and Marine Corps. What did your hero Trump do when it was his turn? In fact, where did YOU serve?

He was on point. The artist who did the paintings with the decapitated heads---Kehinde Wiley--- was doing allegory style paintings of a Biblical story.
In your imagination, reverse the situation. Imagine Trump or another white POTUS chose an artist who had depicted white people beheading black people.
Would you still be so supportive?
