I grew up in the country. Every household had shotguns and went hunting every fall. No one was ever shot. It's not the guns that are to blame but the type of people who own the guns. More people today take BigPharma antidepressants and anti-anxiety drugs.
fine. let's do away with weapons being sold to people who don't hunt. shotguns only, and they have to show a hunting license.
People need to start homeschooling their kids as there is no way to ensure their safety in light of interpretations of the 2nd Amendment that have brought us to the point where there are more guns than people in the US.

Basically, in a country that worships guns over human life the way the U.S. does the only way to be safe is to barricade yourself in your house. The gun loving idiots are everywhere.
