Can we please do the same for our president who is the biggest bully on the planet?

Wonderful examples of how our society has gotten to the point where we are discussing teenagers who have authority issues.
We have adults who are completely incapable of showing any sort of respect to people in authority that they disagree with, and these same adults are the ones who wonder why children don't have any respect for authority.
Bullying should be addressed more forcefully in schools because the majority of the school shooters were bullied. Send these kids and parents to jail for bullying.
Send kids and their parents to jail for bullying? Geezus
Personally, and without regard to the Constitution, I wouldn't have a problem with confiscating everyone's guns.
I know that's not going to happen and probably shouldn't because of the Second Amendment. But we can tighten purchase and registration procedures and close gun show loopholes. Stop selling semi-automatic weapons that make it easy to kills dozens in seconds. Stop peddling violence in the media. Stop letting the NRA own Congress people.
To be honest, I don't think it's my burden to figure it out.<>
Good thought here.
The underlined is impossible because there is no one to do this. The Army can't be used without revoking laws and there are not enough civilian police to charge into one home after another. Some gun owners would concede, but how would LEOs know which was which? The only people who would give up their guns are owners who wouldn't kill anyone in the first place.
How would the NRA be held differently than any group of citizens organized to support their interests? People speak against lobbyists but that is all these groups are; organized law firms who know how to support the interests of their lawful customers through the Congress members they know and support in turn.
BTW, most of the loopholes you mention don't exist. Any dealer anywhere must get a background check done before a sale is consummated. Private individuals are supposed to run the sale thru a dealer.

I would never advocate for confiscation of guns, but I don't see how limiting the ownership of semi-automatic weapons or requiring more thorough vetting for the ownership of those types of guns interferes with anyone's gun rights.

Because the NRA is largely funded by gun and ammo manufacturers, that makes them far different than a "group of citizens".

In Nevada it's not even required that a seller at a gun show have a FFL license, anyone can rent a booth and they can legally sell a gun to anyone with a Nevada ID without a background check. If you don't have a Nevada ID you just arrange to meet the seller in the parking lot, it happens at every single Reno gun show, I used to go to them with my husband.
Sorry I'm not up to speed on the proper names of all the phallic symbols manufactured by the gun industry.
It is essential to define what we are discussing or the result is argument over unimportant details.
Look up AR 15 or you do not know what you are talking about or worrying over. One of the thinking points here is military weapons are designed to some degree, to wound, not kill. It takes more resources in a fire fight to deal with wounded comrades. The weapons that strike fear in your heart would be replaced by civilians with more lethal weapons.
Your vocabulary doesn't help the discussion. It does give posters an incentive to block you as a poster who relies on sexism to make a point.
I realise this is not a debate class, but it is not a drama class either.

Reason: words
So, you're saying "the FBI could not have arrested the 911 hijackers before September 11, 2001?
That what I'm saying? I surely don't think so, and comparing the 9/11 hijackers to American mass killers is equally baffling to me, but I'd rather not scratch my head over nonsense if that's okay with you.
How about we let parents discipline their kids again
Stop drugging the kids instead of using discipline
Start parenting instead of sticking an electronic device in their faces to distract them
Let them be bored, let them start using their imaginations
Let kids scuffle and skin their knees...it builds character and humility
Stop indoctrinating kids in school and start teaching free thinking and problem solving
Let kids have feelings without being ignored, quieted and drugged into oblivion
Let's stop trying to let the the village raised the child...instead lets encourage two parents to PARENT
AS a society, we need to get back to where evereyone stepped in and called foul when something isn't right.
All evil needs to take over is for good people to do nothing
Stop making fun of good and celebrating the bad/abhorrent
Celebrate achievement instead of cool/trendy/superficial
How about we stop allowing our children to witness deadly massacres of their classmates in school?
