OP,

You are eloquent with your summarizations. How about you do one on my favorite excuse.

If they didn't have a gun they would just use a _____________________.

Hit me with it.

As to the OP, kudos to her for speaking out, but I fear she is wrong when she says they are going to be the last mass shooting. Stay tuned. The next one will be along in a week or so. The grownups have no real interest in changing anything.
Perhaps the police could help answer that. They had at least 20 calls on the guy previously.

That is just your opinions vs the constitution. Maybe try another country more to your liking/way of thinking? That would be a win/win for everyone.

What's disgraceful is people like YOU who want to change our great country.

The constitution gets changed all the time. We call them amendments.

There is real angry beginning to build and a paradigm shift is growing.

Just like acceptance of gay marriage seemed to come out of the blue, an anti-gun movement will spring forth like nothing that has been seen before.

Do you know why?

Because the NRA and the other pro-gun groups will overplay their hand. I mean to be against even the most common sense regulations will spark real outrage.

Really, repealing a rule outlawing the sale of guns to the mentally ill?

Really, against an assault weapons ban?

Really against the sale of bump stock?

The Pro-gun lobby has it wrong. When the anger of parents and other outraged citizens coalescences it will be a wave.

The wave is forming and heading out way.
I do think that they have overplayed their hand. With their newfound love for silencers, their failure to ban even bump-stocks, and repealing of the law outlawing the sale of guns to the mentally ill - this country is finally waking up.

The NRA owns the republican congress - lock, stock, and barrel so to speak.

The next generation is coming. And they are tired of the gun game.

How many schoolkids have to die before you are ready for change?

This country seems poised for change and maybe you are the one who needs to try another country.

Unless you’re afraid of big bad gub’ment and you think you and your militia friends are going to overthrow that government, there is no rational reason to allow the sale of weapons designed for war (AR-15’s) to be available to the general public. None.

You could use the same rationale to claim your right to buy a jet fighter/bomber or a tank.

Gun grabbing is a losing strategy and even Dems know it

It's why Obama even when he could, didn't pass any sort of gun control legislation

BS Arguments the lemming left makes.

Assault rifles need to go.
Hughes amendment made it illegal to manufacture an assault rifle post May 19 1986 unless you are selling them to the government, military or law enforcement.

The NRA is complicit and enabling
The NRA nor it's members condone these events. It is a Constitutional right to keep and bear arms, as much as it is your right to protest that idea...

Well regulated.
Looking at the Oxford English dictionary of the time...
Well regulated meaning in well working order.

1709: “If a liberal Education has formed in us well-regulated Appetites and worthy Inclinations.”

1714: “The practice of all well-regulated courts of justice in the world.”

1812: “The equation of time … is the adjustment of the difference of time as shown by a well-regulated clock and a true sun dial.”

1848: “A remissness for which I am sure every well-regulated person will blame the Mayor.”

1862: “It appeared to her well-regulated mind, like a clandestine proceeding.”

1894: “The newspaper, a never wanting adjunct to every well-regulated American embryo city.”

Common sense gun laws are needed.
Yes, because in a nation that you claim is awash with guns, you believe in repeating the same inept policies and laws that have done absolutely 0 to protect life, preserve liberty, ensure future pursuits of happiness.
The definition of insanity is repeating the same things repeatedly and expecting a different result each time.
That same thing being repeated-gun free zones.

Quite the logic and common sense.

The blood is on the gun proponents hands.
Wrong. We've never endorsed, supported, or praised the heinous actions of these individuals. We've called for a change a long time ago. I specifically have since I was 15 following my first lock down drill...

If anything the blood is on the hands of those who believe gun free zones serve as a deterrence to the heinous scumbags that commit these atrocities.

Guns kill more, and gun violence is a plaguing issue.
Cars have killed far more, you're being intellectually disingenuous to inflate the statistics and play into feeble emotion.
By the way. Guns are inanimate objects incapable of violence.
