As with everything related to this shooting, there is an abundance of conflicting and fake information out there.

I will wait for the official FBI report.

BTW, it’s not a crime to post a threat on the Internet, unless intent to act on the threat can be proven.

so the fbi, local police department, school security, resource officer, and mental health professionals failed but the reason according to the left for this tragedy is the nra's fault???

these horrible mass murders resulted from a mountain of multiple government and local authority failures. shocking how badly these murdered kids were failed again and again.

I'm a gun owner and have been for over 30 years. But don't let that stop you from making assumptions.

There are reasonable numbers from NYC that indicate a cop with a hand gun has little hope in a fire fight. They hit less than 20% over all and at at anything over 10 yards less than that. So all the SRO could do would be charge into an AR15 being used by a guy who knew how to shoot. It is called suicide.

And no one is answering the question of how to pay for all the guns and training and insurance and "bonuses" to quote a high ranking official in Washington
Why is it amazing?

We know for a fact that two teachers gave up their lives trying to defend/protect their students. And, that is not surprising to me in the least. Its the normal instinct of people in leadership positions.

but some teachers, especially the 15% of teachers out there are ALREADY trained, and can be trained

many retired leo's also work at schools

you are a gun owner, yet you dismiss this??? why is that???

why are you against a decent idea of a prevention

the answer is not '''banning guns''' .. it doesn't work

why not address the real problem... mental illness???

but you can continue to assume, and dismiss... it is a right called the first amendment... you have a right to your opinion...

I am just offering up an idea... yet you dismiss it, like as if I don't have a right to an opinion, only you do

nice to know how un-open minded so people are

It's the NRA's fault for fighting every reasonable restriction ever suggested to deal with weapons that serve no purpose other than to kill large numbers of people very, very quickly.
