But as long as the gun nut's 2nd Amendment rights are protected, who gives a damn about the dead and wounded?
Again, most of the people who have guns, on and off the street, are not "nuts". They are normal, law-abiding people who would never dream of shooting or even threatening someone.
How do you separate out the few "nuts"?
Or did you just intend to take everyone's gun away, including those who have never done a thing and never will?
Go to the UK. Plenty of stabbings and acid attacks. Someone intent on doing evil will find a way.
Much more likely to survive a stabbing than a gunshot wound. Not to mention, it's easy to fire a weapon. Hell, as we've seen with Vegas, you can kill from hundreds of yards away. Knife? Got to be right next to the person...
The pro-death crowd always comes out in force after school shootings. We know their priorities.
