Germany declared war on the United States. The Afghan people did not.
No it isn’t. The Taliban never declared war on the United States. They’re simply fighting for control of their country. Something that is their right to do.
The rights of the people and nations in the Middle East don't matter to the war mongers. Hypocrits
Germany declared war on us, a few days after Japan, their ally, attacked us.
Officially doesn't really matter. America "declared" war on Germany when we supplied their enemies. Germany "declared" war on us when they began sinking our supply ships to their enemies.
I won't argue the idea that Afghanistan had the biggest rationale over the rest but he is wrong. Al Queda and the Taliban were not really all that close. There was simply little to nothing that the Taliban could do about Al Queda.
OK so we invaded to address those who attacked our country. They quickly fled to Pakistan but we did not pursue them. We stayed spinning our wheels in Afghanistan and concentrated on another useless war in Iraq.
It does not surprise me in the least that you agree with the Taliban, and we will just leave it at that.
Frankly I think he is right ( and I rarely agree with the OP). As I have posted repeatedly, Get out, stay out, Not just there but everywhere. Worse thing we did was help the Muj fight the Reds.....
The goal is to maintain a presence until conflict can be initiated with Iran.
I am inclined to believe the same.
