That is surprising....10 European countries have a higher mass killing rate than does the USA.

Yeah . . . not at all. The scale is all off. Norway has had one mass killing spree, but it was Anders Breivik, and he killed 77 people in a country of about 5 million.

There has only been one mass shooting in a school ever in the UK, and that was Dunblane in 1996, since then there has only ever been one mass shooting, in 2010 in Cumbria.
It's really up to Americans as to how they want to proceed in relation to guns, however in most countries in the rest of the western world, gun laws are not that controversial and people can still buy weapons for hunting, sports, gamekeeping, farming and other employment or pursuits.
I am certainly not going to lecture Americans on how they live their lives, however once they start using stats regarding the UK I will correct any information I feel is inaccurate.
