Police called to New Haven magnet school for child making toy Lego gun | FOX 61
Student put together LEGO pieces in the shape of a gun. Faculty calls the police on the student. Common sense isn’t common anymore, especially among those in the education career

Realistically, I don't think a gun is the appropriate shape to make using Legos while in school.

What were the skin pigment of those involved. Not sure whether to be outraged, and if this will go national

AND...... the teachers were such snowflakes that they could not handle this matter on their own and had to resort to calling the Police?

They certainly missed a teaching moment with this kid. Instead of praising him for his building talent but telling him that it is wrong to point a gun, even a toy one at people they had to traumatize the poor kid by having the cops come to straighten him out.

Dumb.

Yes, you are a BIG part of the problem.

Here's a picture of my 4th grade class, dressed in 1889 clothing, on "89er's Day", an important day of celebration in Oklahoma.

IMPORTANT NOTE: No one in this picture grew up to be mass murderers.

Maybe you should call the police on me for uploading this picture?

I brought my toy M-16 to school dressed in camo pants and an airborne shirt, with a utility belt and canteen on when I was in 3rd/4th grade or so, it was for Halloween. Now days I would probably be cuffed, arrested, then sent to years of psych counseling and given two dozen prescriptions.
