Apparently a therapist even cleared him as "no threat to anyone or himself" in Sept 2016. So a mental health professional specifically screened him for such.

But, there is a new report that they got a specific call from someone who knew Cruz and gave them much more detailed info. They apparently did not follow up on it.

If our government knew about these dangers yet ignored them, why should we expect more gun control laws to work? Also, we should be wondering if the FBi is so busy trying to get rid of Trump in their little coup to stop shootings from happening.

If the therapist was correct at that time, it gives some credence to the theory that his mother's death tipped him over the edge.
