This is alive and proliferating right now on social media:
Quote:
“On April 20, 2018, school children around the country in public and private schools will be signed out and walk out at 11:00 am Colorado time, and march to mayors’ offices, governors’ offices, the White House, local NRA offices, Mar-a-Lago, campaign offices, etc. Enough is enough. And saying “enough is enough” is getting old. Not one more student should die by gun violence."

I am sure the media and liberal parents will try to push it so more kids will want to do it... And change nothing.... But at least you guys did try for the millionth time...
I actually remember when kids went to school to be educated to advance core knowledge - today they are pawns of Social Justice Activists and "educated" into Activism to advance the Political Positions/Ideology of their teachers and family.

I remember when kids could go to school and feel safe.
Why would private school students need to walk out?
They aren't inside the State-mandated collectivist propaganda machines known as public schools.
No, they are inside church-mandated collectivist propaganda machines known as charter schools.
If students across the country can pull of the mass walkout it will be a powerful message to the money grabbing politicians that are fed at the breast of the NRA wet nurses.

Sounds like a good case for advising these boycotting students to get their HS courses on line from the state and graduate. Internet teaching is a good opportunity where I live.
Of course they would miss proms and ballgames while they boycott, but hey, life is full of choices
