Yeah, old Bibi is once again selling woof tickets with more empty threats about Israel’s ability to “act against Iran’s empire.”
Ummm...no he can’t. Not unilaterally and without U.S. help. If Israel could, they would’ve done it already. And he shouldn’t get too emboldened by the election of Trump. The defense establishment willl not go along with any plan the president may have to aid Israel in an attack on Iran. It ain’t gonna happen.
I know many people on the right in this country are spoiling for this confrontation, but they really shouldn’t be. Again, there’s no victory to be had in an invasion of Iran, and simple airstrikes won’t work. Troops will have to hit the ground in order to operate with any effectiveness. That would be our downfall.

It would be a major waste of US military resources, lives, and money for the US to attack Iran, which is more of a medium term problem for the US than an immediate threat, Money and resources we will need for NK or possibly China. We should stay out of the Middle East unless we are immediately threatened.
