The present system the U S has guards against tyranny. But some how both the left and right scream tyranny when the other side has the Presidency. But doing so gives tyranny a bad name and is lack of knowledge.

Seems this a new wave since the last 3 Presidents are tyrants according to partisans. Lets take the make believe tyrant in right wing partisan minds as a example. Obama was accused of tyranny by attempting to rule by EO. During his tenure there was 15 Supreme court cases and Obama lost like 13 of them.

Which begs the question, how could that be tyranny and a Obama a tyrant when he was smacked down by the system? One thing is true both sides strive for Democratic tyranny and their partisans. Proof, it became very important for both parties to win because of SC appointments.

What would real tyranny look like? We are living and seeing the play book run by both parties.
First there has to be a family dynasty that appeals to the masses and could hold power just by family name.

Of course for tyranny to work one party would have to dominate and control the congress election after election. And of course the SC will swing right or left depending on which side the tyrants on.

Funny how partisans and the electorate are part of the play book for Democratic tyranny and they don't even know it. Or it could be they know it but are preying that their side is the tyrant. Just by reading this forum the support for Democratic tyranny is alive and well.

Tyranny is realized, when the Bill of Rights is read out loud.
