Gun humpers keep saying that we need semi auto rifles to protect us from a "tyrannical government", but the truth is the gun humpers who own these semi auto are who we need protection from.

Even Huffington post admits AW type firearms used in homicides is very small

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...b015db1bc8c123

But as momentum builds for a new assault weapons ban, data shows just how small of an effect such legislation would have on the overall levels of gun violence in the U.S.

I guess he forgets that cops have tanks.

Typical Statist hypocrisy. I wonder why they don't draft a bill to defund the military...
Nobody is coming for your guns!

Americans don’t own tanks or missiles; so why should our streets be flooded with weapons of war made for the sole purpose of killing people?
Their argument is a fallacy, and they apparently don't understand the purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to protect against tyranny.

So?

What good will it do you if you don't have a crew for it and can't maintain it?

Actually, it says "to bear arms", not ride in them.

Ban everything else.
The purpose of the 2nd Amendment is not to allow people to hunt, rather it's to protect against tyranny.

ETA: Actually it only bans semi-auto pistols with a "military-style feature," whatever the hell that is.
No, the language is clear:

(30) The term ‘semiautomatic pistol’ means any repeating pistol that—
(A) utilizes a portion of the energy of a firing cartridge to extract the fired cartridge case and chamber the next round; and
(B) requires a separate pull of the trigger to fire each cartridge.

It bans lever action rifles:

Browning BLR Model 181 Lever Action, All Models
Browning Model 53 Lever Action
‘E.M.F. 1866 Yellowboy Lever Actions
E.M.F. Model 73 Lever-Action Rifle
E.M.F. Model 1873 Lever Actions
Henry .30/30 Lever Action Carbine

etc.

If the Dems had the majority in Congress, I'd say everyone has a right be concerned, but they don't. I doubt Trump would say this into law anyway.

Trump, a man without principle, will sign anything.

You need to protect yourself from people who violate the non-progression principle.

I follow it.

Do you?
