They are "parody" marriages, or fake marriages. That's a straightforward fact.

No...no they are not. Ask the married couples. They'll tell you how real they are. You don't have the power to take away their marriages from them.

Those married couples don't give a damn what you think. All they care about is whether the government recognizes their marriage. And the straightforward fact is, it does.

You can yell at your TV or post here all you want, it won't change the straightforward fact that they are legally married.

I'm sure the world will survive just fine as long as you do NOT marry someone of the same sex.

But if you want the state to regulate/protect the partners' respective property, inheritance, and parental rights, you need that marriage certificate.
That's the rub, if you want the state to regulate your private life it's hard to turn them off when you dont want them to get involved. If you want government to protect just draw up a contract, like a will.

Have too chuckle on that one Im sure if there was a Jesus, being a person of Love and forgiveness, he would love Gays the same as all his children. Its not like he was a raping murdering slaver like Mohamad.

If that contract covers everything you want covered, then fine. Just don't expect the same tax and pension treatment that married couples get when one of you dies. Because the government won't be a party to your contract.

That's the part they want to ignore. Can't touch a football or wear blended fibers either.

My Bible informs me that should my DH pass on, his brother has to marry me. Even if the brother already has a wife.
