Don't tell me to shut up. I'll say whatever I darn well please. Don't like it? Place me on ignore.
I'll be looking for you on a future BLM or police violence thread.
And this is your problem. Inability to respect and empathize with other people's misfortunes caused by our system of government without resulting in spewing your own opinion to counter theirs.
And this is your problem. Inability to respect and empathize with other people's misfortunes caused by our system of government without resulting in spewing your own opinion to counter theirs.
And this is your problem. You've maliciously and erroneously ascribed characteristics to me not knowing a thing about me.
Like I said, I'll see you on future BLM and police violence threads.
Maybe you should understand the crap that has happened over the course of history over these years. White people HAVE NEVER BEEN THE UNDERDOGS. It's always the minorities that had to fight, lose lives, etc.. to get the government to change.
Until you've personally experienced it yourself, you have no right to say anything. It's called acting like a privileged one. I don't care how mean some of these statements are, because frankly, people have died to make the right changes in this country over the decades. Respect them, I don't care how "unfair" things seem to you. Unless you've been threatened, abused, killed, you have no say. Experiencing racism, biases, killings, etc.. first hand is a whole lot different than talking about it.
You don't get to make the rules. People like you are the entire problem. Discuss the issue. That's it. Nothing to do with anything else. Doesn't matter if one is tall or short or if they are a minority or not or what they've been through.
I’m inclined to give Chris Rock the benefit of the doubt here. It is a comedy routine and he is a brilliant guy.
I agree.
I like a lot of his comedy. As a matter of fact, I like his comedy more than I like him. He wasn't making fun of or celebrating these school shootings. That wouldn't have been amusing.
He's always been irreverent. One of the funniest things he ever said, after a routine about charities, was that Jerrys Kids are still gimpin' around.
I saw the OP's comments about "don't like it put me on ignore"....which I only saw via response from another poster.
Probably one of the only times I'd ever agree with them. If you don't have someone posting crap like this on ignore then frankly, you shouldn't be arguing with them.
If you disagree, please take up any complaints with my dog who will give you just as much reasoned consideration.
This is the same type of issue we are seeing with extreme feminism IRT men. Swinging so far the other way that the original group in power is now subordinate or its even okay to joke about killing kids based on their skin color is NOT THE ANSWER TO TRUE EQUALITY.
I was a fan of Chris Rock. I will never watch him ever again.
I saw his special on Netflix. You’re quoting out of context.
What’s the matter? Want to redirect the news cycle?
Guess what? A bunch of white school kids just got shot and your party and your president don’t give a rat’s ass.
Please spare us the feigned concern.
Do as you please with your TV. Chris Rock doesn’t need you-he’s super rich.
BTW, the GOP exists to protect people like Chris Rock because he has million$ and not you.
Also, theres no context stated behind what was actually said.
Rock continued, explaining that "real equality" would include "white mothers" crying about their dead children.
"I wanna live in a world with real equality. I want to live in a world where an equal amount of white kids are shot every month," he said. "I wanna see white mothers on TV, crying, standing next to Al Sharpton, talkin' about, 'We need justice for Chad.'"
You clearly have a problem with his satire or you’re just spinning things for the sake of shock value.
Hes a comedian.
comedians say really dumb Moderator cut: profanity all the time, for the sake of being funny.
In what world would that EVER be considered funny?
