The U.S. is a Republican Democracy, a Parliamentary government based on the Constitution and elected reps. If one were to objectively watch or read the MSM news then one might think that Democrats think the POTUS is some type of totalitarian dictator who can change laws and make things all better by waving some type of magic wand instead of these things being changed by the parliamentary process as the Constitution dictates.
Why are democrats so ignorant about democracy in the U.S.? Do you find it ironic that they call themselves democrats?

You starting this off on the wrong foot already. You not looking for any serious feedback, you just want to pick a fight with the dems along with your wright wing crew. Negative and nasty all the time. Have a good evening.

And here I thought starting off on the wrong foot meant saying that we have a parliamentary system.
There seems to be more and more mindless posts like this lately from various posters.
And just so happens the Russians are upping their social media troll bots.
Coincident?
.
Nope, they're out in full force today. Same comment about joining the NRA for the first time is popping up everywhere. You'd think they'd at least try to change a verb or noun here and there.

President can try to make change and most definitely can influence new legislation.
I think you are misinterpreting some of the things you are hearing.
Asking the President to do something is not asking him to just pass a law...but to start the process of reviewing what can be done.
I think his meeting with victims and families yesterday is a step in that direction.
That wouldn't have happened with outcry from folks.
It's a good thing.
It's a good thing to really look at security at schools and make sure there are some federal standards -- not just arming teachers or officers but access to campuses, etc.
I don't think you realize how change happens. It doesn't happen by just hoping and praying. It happens with action -- marches, protests, symbolic actions........

The irony of your post is, every single accusation you're making of the democrats is actually true of the republicans, particularly Trump cultists.
