Oh yes! It looks identical to the Confederate flag. LOL!
Doesn't look anything like it. The stripes on the Norwegian flag form a CROSS, not an X, there are no stars, and the white stripes on a Norwegian flag are more prominent.

Seattle. Let's face it, we're not exactly dealing with the sharpest knives in the drawer.
Seattle has a higher percentage of college educated persons as well as people working in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) compared to many cities in the USA. Sounds like the residents are smarter than you give them credit for.
Well. technically that's a St. Andrew's cross on the Confederate battle flag - but what a fool this person has made of themselves. Other than the colors, which are shared by many, many flags, and having crosses - very different kinds of crosses - there is no resemblance whatsoever between the Norwegian flag and the Confederate battle flag.
I suppose one could argue that trolls (the Norwegian kind) made her do it...
Oh sigh. Just another indication that too many non-PNW folks have moved to Seattle over the past 10 years. Time was, and not so long ago, either, that everyone in Seattle would have recognized a Norwegian flag. Having an 'Uff Da!' bumpersticker on your car was practically a requirement. Especially if your car was an old Volvo.
