My Bible tells me to forgive the transgressions of others. I'm not Jewish, so it's not up to me to judge their reactions. That's also in the Bible by the way. Not sure of your religion, so your mileage may vary. My therapist also tells me to forgive others as well as not to hold grudges. Still working on that last part

The vast majority of money associated with Billy Graham did go to the poor, and Samaritan's Purse has literally helped more than a billion poor people across the planet. And he certainly didn't live the life of celebrity and the famous at his home at Montreat University in NC.

Your opinion of his son is really irrelevant to the topic at hand.

(you do yourself no favors in this attempt to demonize Billy Graham)

A man who in the 70's declared he would not be involved with politics again.

Graham said at a press conference.... “What I want is a united audience to hear only the gospel. Many times (in the past) … I went too far in (dividing people on) such issues, and I think this time I want to stick only to the gospel.”

Move.
That isn't a very Christ-like attitude.

I would consider Graham on par with Michael Jackson, Walt Disney or Marilyn Monroe or some other cultural icon. It seems a stretch to put them on display in the Capitol. Rosa Parks probably could have been better honored elsewhere...Lincoln Memorial perhaps. But, on the other hand we might as well use the Capitol as a mausoleum for all the good it is doing us.

Not a word in there anywhere about anyone having to do anything. I will reamain devoutly agnostic, and dare the government to try to censure me.

One of the freedoms our country affords is that when people don't like something, they are free to express their opinions about it and even try to change it.

They do not have to move.

How is him being honored a case of the government establishing a religion?
