You realize that the majority of the democratic voters really don't care about DACA or immigration, whereas gun violence effects everybody in a community.

There is no such thing as GUN VIOLENCE. There is only PEOPLE VIOLENCE. Most people are NOT affected by others using a gun in crime. So you are just plain, friking WRONG.

I actually believe if guns were banned and confiscated in American violence and maybe even murder rate would go up.
First, let's look at the relationship between gun laws and violence in general. It is possible to have a violent society without guns. Prime evidence of that is the former Soviet Union and its successor states such as Russia, which despite stringent gun control laws, posted murder rates from 1965-1999 that far outstripped the rest of the developed world [sources: Kates and Mauser; Kessler; Pridemore]. The killers in question did not obtain illegal firearms -- they simply employed other weapons
I don't trust progressives. I think they might just want that, and take away your guns and leave you more vulnerable and dependent on the government.

Yeah, one week they're protesting about trigger happy police shooting people for no reason, and then next week they want to disarm Americans from semi-automatic weapons/high capacity magazines.... arguing that police and criminals should only these weapons

No, but in the "Fla. School Shooting" thread, early on after the incident, a lot of folks did try to say he was an illegal alien and a dreamer. They got all big eyed when they saw his last name.
I don't know a liberal not ecstatic about those poor kids in Florida because they got to brow beat everyone that disagrees with them. Has anyone done a root cause analysis of this and other shootings and offered an actual workable plan to minimize these events?
It's like DACA, welfare, immigration, etc. in that liberals don't want to solve the problem, they want to use the problem to gain power to control others....that is their goal and they must be stopped.
