She is now claiming as of

"Monday that she had more than 16 hours of audio recordings that could help shed light on Russian meddling in US elections."

16 hours of recorded conversations of Deripaska.

Hmm. Maybe. At least she has skills if given asylum.

Seems she will face trial in Thailand before being deported to Russia.

Wonder if I should sail over to Thailand and pick her up.

Russian media is reporting that she's been taken to the US embassy in Thailand and granted asylum. We'll see if it's true.

Very sad for her. So young and so naive. Even if she is granted asylum somewhere, she will let her guard down one day, and cease to exist.

Joubert, in Three Days of the Condor, "It will happen this way. You may be walking. Maybe the first sunny day of the spring. And a car will slow beside you, and a door will open, and someone you know, maybe even trust, will get out of the car. And he will smile, a becoming smile. But he will leave open the door of the car and offer to give you a lift."

I assume this would have to go thru the state department so that aint gonna happened. She should seek asylum somewhere else. Maybe Sweden.

While testimony from a prostitute may not be reliable, I can recall one instance where the US government did call a prostitute to testify: Judith Campbell Exner was called to testify in the Senate before the Church Committee regarding her knowledge of the Mafia's connection to JFK's assassination.

It's not a stretch to believe that Vashukevich might be interviewed by the Mueller team, provided that she isn't deported first.

They'll have to go to Thailand or do it over the phone. State is not letting her in.

I wonder if she's still alive, or if Trump and his buddy Putin have had her murdered.
