Oklahoma in this study is also one of the top 10 worst states. Once again, Right to Work sucks.

RTW rocks.

Freedom to Associate or choose not to. Both with a union and an employer, independent decisions as they should be.

People will still be free to pay union extortion if they desire to.

You have got to be kidding. No possible way does Right to Work rock for the worker. Right to Work without a doubt only works for the company. The company hopes Right to Work will weaken the union so much that it can NOT afford to pay arbitrators to settle disputes when the boss violates the union contract. You need to somehow, someway understand the ultimate goal for what Right to Work can do is to get rid of the union and the damned labor contract that goes with it. Then the boss wins the right to fire people without reason, and lower pay. The company wins total control. If you hate unions and are pro corporate, you should be quite able to easily look at it from that angle.

Then if you want freedom of association, try to have the good sense not to work at a unionized workplace, especially in a state without Right to Work.

Don't you pay taxes against your will? Don't you wish you had the right not to pay taxes, just like workers in states with Right to Work have the right not to pay union dues? After all, it's a pretty damned good deal. The worker who opts not to pay wins the right for free union representation and other union benefits. In turn, if you had the right not to pay taxes, you would be entitled to free government services, free police, free fire protection and so on. Later on in life you'd become eligible to apply for Social Social and Medicare along with the people who opted to pay.

Sorry but if you are saying unions = the federal government, you'd be quite wrong. Period.

No, but the principal is similar. Some people say taxation is theft. The same people probably would also say mandatory union dues in states without Right to Work is also theft.

Not required in most states, soon nationally, as Janus decision will become the template to spread to private sector.

Your monopoly is over. Learn to compete.

People will be free to both join or avoid a union, in any workplace where one exists.
