NEWFOUNDLAND, Pa. (AP) — Crown-wearing worshippers clutching AR-15 rifles drank holy wine and exchanged or renewed wedding vows in a commitment ceremony at a Pennsylvania church on Wednesday, prompting a nearby school to cancel classes.

With state police and a smattering of protesters standing watch outside the church, brides clad in white and grooms in dark suits brought dozens of unloaded AR-15s into World Peace and Unification Sanctuary for a religious event that doubled as an advertisement for the Second Amendment.
This happened in my neck of the woods today.

Isn't it special?

Now, if this was a religious organization of the non-Christian variety, I wonder what the reaction would have been.

I think there was some holy wine drinking going on well before the ceremony began.

A commitment ceremony with their assault weapons. Sounds like a group who wouldn't qualify to own such weapons following a mental health check.

Given that you are the OP, I wasn't 100% sure (before clicking on the thread) if by 'worshippers' you meant gun worshippers....I thought there was a chance you might mean Trump worshippers .

Lots of intolerance being demonstrated towards those of differing beliefs being demonstrated so far in this topic starting with the OP.

Not surprising I guess. It comes from those who I'm thinking would be quick to accuse others of intolerance.
