Funny, huh?
you have anti hemp people from both sides

you also have many people on the right, who support it

liberals have done NOTHING to reverse it on the federal level...which is where it NEEDS to be fixed

That's why I always laugh when someone says liberals made cannabis illegal 80 years ago.

Funny a heroin addict can buy a gun but not a cannabis smoker.
yeah at the recommendation of the liberals who controlled the congress, Nixon signed it to be schedule 1.... the liberals in 1937 made it illegal to begin with, doesn't matter which schedule (classification) it is if it is already illegal

What has 99% of the right done on cannabis? Besides saying it needs to remain illegal.

It was the liberals fault that Nixon made cannabis a schedule 1 drug!

LOL, now I've heard everything!

Typical Republican, making lame excuses for one of their worst and attempting to blame others.

The Shafer commission was appointed by Nixon to look into the problems Marihuana was causing. It's chairman was a Republican.

They could not find any good reasons why marihuana should remain illegal:

Quote:
It concluded that cannabis did not cause widespread danger to society. It recommended using social measures other than criminalization to discourage use. It compared the situation of cannabis to that of alcohol.
Nixon ignored his own commission's advice and made it schedule I anyway. I doubt liberals had anything to do with that. Nixon had his own agenda.
