Oddly I am not scared either - even with no guns on my person or stashed haphazardly in various locations in my car.
You know what else I'm not scared about? That my car gets broken into or stolen while I'm in the grocery store and a weapon registered to me is used to commit a crime or kill someone because I left them in the glovebox or console while I ran in to pick up ingredients for tonight's dinner.
Me neither. Must be truly awful to be so paranoid and scared of the big bad world. Truly sad.
Except that's not what she did...in your own words:

a bunch of cards. As the trooper filed through them wondering why so many, he came across a conceal carry permit.
So again, you presented this "situation" in order to present the appearance of a doddering granny, who couldn't even follow basic request, as someone who is admirable for having a bunch of guns (presumably loaded to fit in with the story).
Mildred Ross 89, pulled over by DPS on I-35 doing 84 in a 75.
The trooper asked for her license and insurance.
Mildred handed him a bunch of cards. As the trooper filed through them wondering why so many, he came across a conceal carry permit.
He asked Mildred if she had a weapon in the vehicle with her. She replied, "You bet I do"
Asking where it is, Mildred said, I got a 1911 .45 in the glove box.
The way she said it, the trooper asked if she had any other weapons in the vehicle. She replied, I got a Glock 23 .40 cal in the console.
Puzzled the trooper asked are there any other weapons I should be aware of? I got a S&W .38 in my waist belt.
The trooper stood back in bewilderment... asking Mrs. Ross, what are you scared of?
Mildred replied, Not a damn thing.
Have a nice day Mrs. Ross and slow down.
Doesn't seem like a very responsible person if she can't keep her paperwork in order.

You are assuming, the other cards were not suppose to be presented, with the CCL.
It doesn't say what they were.
I'll assume here. @ 89 I'm sure she had some meds on her, and with the CCL it must be handed over too.
Do you know the laws concerning a CCL and interaction with LE?
Or are you arguing from emotion for the sake of arguing in ignorance?

How - twee.
I have a story from real life. Philando Castile, 32, got pulled over.. Oh, that's not nearly as cutesy, is it?
Give her credit for not being confrontational, defying, fighting, or running from the police officer. Seems to be the norm for some people. I guess she doesn't get her honorary thug badge.
That's not a story, it's a joke and it's been around for a long time. But I guess liberals will believe anything that tries to make a gun owner look silly.
And maciesmom, I'd never leave my weapon in the car, it stays on my hip at all times !

If course it's a joke. I said as much, simply pointing out how some people were willing to overlook the situation presented in order to jump.in supporting guns. More guns apparently trumps common sense. Seeing a lot of that lately.
Glad to know you don't leave unsecured weapons laying about.

In NC at least it's required during a traffic stop that you hand over your CCW permit and inform the LEO of any weapons in your vehicle.
