The Obama recovery continues!!!!. The budget has a strong influence on the economy. We are still operating under the Obama budget. Obama was elected in Nov 2008. His first budget was for 2010. Obama's last budget was for the entire 2017 year.

Quite an accomplishment considering that under Obama close 1 in 5 adults were on foodstamps at one point.
More importantly, that 1/2 century low figure is based on total number. And its actually harder now to reach that low of a number because the population is much higher.

HOWEVER.....

Your foodstamp argument is not what you would expect. There is still 43.6 million people collecting foodstamps under Trump. Almost the same as under Obama.

And you misquote reality. Under Obama we never got close to 1 in 5 adults. We got close to 1 in 5 of our total population. Same as with Trump. Whose numbers are very close to Obamas. Despite the unemployment numbers.

One interesting statistic though that seems odd to me. The average monthly benefit under trump jumped from $126-128 per person under Obama, to $136.85 under Trump;

Which means....we're actually spending more on SNAP under Trump then we did under Obama.

These are not unemployment statistics.

They are actual jobless claims. Those numbers are real hard numbers.

And they haven't been this low since 1969.

The Trump Economy is booming.
