(and for you guys paying attention, it's disaster for CNN)
You are likely correct, Maddow has only recently over taken Hannity and not for the full month. It may be the beginning of a trend and Maddow is on upswing, Hannity is on down side.

MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show was the most-watched show in all of cable TV Thursday, with a total audience of nearly 3.2 million viewers.
So they are celebrating because she was the "most watched" on ONE DAY?

Oh and the OP neglected to mention this little detail:
Quote:
Maddow's ratings came on a big night for the network, with three of the top ten shows on all of cable, including The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell (#5) and All In with Chris Hayes (#6). MSNBC, which had record ratings in 2017 and finished second to long-time cable news leader Fox News in the February ratings period, took a decisive overall win Thursday, beating both Fox News and CNN among viewers 25-54, the demographic coveted by advertisers. Fox News remained on top among total viewers.

I am very proud to say, I have never watched 5 seconds of Hannity. No, make that 1 second.

I also have to say that Maddow is not my very favorite either. I mean, she is ok, but I think there are better news hosts on the air.

Seth Rich. His family finally had to beg him to stop. And Fox had to make him stop too.

Hannity and Maddow both suck. I like Tucker, though sometimes he irritates me with his laugh, and I like Laura Ingraham. Shannon Bream is also good as well as Brett Baier.

To clarify, neither are actual journalists. They are both pundits, They are both given scripts to form their opinion

Hannity is nothing but a cheerleader for Trump. He just sits there and tells lies and is arrogant and pathetic. Everyone knows what a suck up he is.

Hannity and Maddow are both just there to feed red meat to their respective bases. I much prefer Laura Ingraham and Tucker Carlson.
