It's a little OT, but our policy of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" hasn't served us terribly well, particularly in the Middle East.

Democrats formally request the FBI to look into reports that Kushner leaked classified information about those disloyal to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

We have no friends over there. The Middle East's use for the United States is limited to how they can get us to pay them. It's the one factor that unites the entire region, Israel included.

Long story short; Kushner's bought this big Skyscraper on Fifth Ave. in Manhattan for nearly $2bn.

The 08' drop made them have to refinance big time, but still they don't have the capitol to pay off the mortgage.

Fast forward to last year.

Kushner's father meets with Qutari officials who decline to invest in the floundering building. He met with people from Qatar, UAE , and Russia.

Weeks after, Kushner lobbied hard to President Trump to endorse a blockade of the country, even though it is actually a political loss for the US, because Qatar would move towards working with Iran more.
Kushner is home safe.

Obama pardoned the trans that revealed classified info.

Hillary did far worse to compromise security and was never prosecuted so jared has no worry.

Fake news

No really. Obama Commuted mannings sentence, he did not pardon her-a HUGE difference. And Hillary did not do anything of the sort.

Kushner passed classified intel of those disloyal to the Saudi prince.

This was followed by arrests, imprisonment, and a suspicious helicopter crash.

It's a wonder anyone will tell U.S. intelligence services anything these days.

Sure looks like it, but I don't know.

Why anyone would tell anything to U.S. intelligence services these days is a mystery.

We know that Trump passed classified intel received from Israel to the Russian ambassador/spy, providing sufficient details that the source and methods could easily be deduced by the Russians.

Republicans shrug it off. Trump can pass on any intel he wants. He the POTUS.

Trump supporters insist Israel is fine with the as the U.S. provides them so much support. Alas, their defense of Trump has nothing to do with reality.

"US President Donald Trump’s reported sharing of a highly classified Israeli tip with Russia led to incredibly tense meetings between Israeli and American intelligence officials, Foreign Policy Magazine reported Friday."

"The Israelis reportedly shouted at their US counterparts, demanding an explanation for Trump’s actions,"

"Beyond the possible danger to the source, FP reported that Israelis feared they had lost any further access to the spy’s intel."

A more careful approach to sharing intel was inevitable.

And now anyone passing on intel about Saudi Arabia knows it will get right back to the Saudis.

Good times.

If Kushner is indeed trading intel for Saudi support, he's following in the footsteps of his father-in-law.

Trump goaded intelligence services into revealing their sources by insisting he wouldn't believe a word of the Steele dossier until he knew the sources.

They reveal their sources and the next thing you know, three Russian FSB agents are arrested for being spies and a top level aide was found dead in the trunk of his car.

Foul play was suspected.

No kidding.
