Words fail me. I eagerly await the Trump cultists excuses as to why a President for Life is somehow more democratic and just than the current system.

As liberals have shouted over and over again, trump says a lot of things, not all will happen.

This is true but it speaks volumes about his character.

It is just the liberal media trying to twist things out of proportion. What I am reading into it is that Trump thinks there are some good aspects to having a leader for a longer time than a couple of terms, for example, when you have a good leader.

And it was probably just a lighthearted remark. It is not like he is trying to change the system, which if you were to ask him he would say is pretty good the way it is.

Basically a nonstory that the liberal media trying to make it into a big story to outrage the public. The Lefists among us, predictably going apesh-it over it, of course. LOL.

There is no question in my mind that his loyalists would love nothing more. Trump loyalists and Kim Jung Un loyalists are really not that different, other than their body weight and dietary choices.

Just another rumor from the swamp, guaranteed to send chills through the spines (or whatever they have instead) of our Resident Snowflakes.

If Trump and his minions ever present a serious threat to the real workings of the democratic (small 'd' please, children) process, the libertarians and others within the independent center will be the first to stand against him. But what a lot of us recognized back in 2016 was that it was Clinton, Obama, the aging campus rebels, and the urban Democratic machine who posed the real prospect of reducing the American Experiment to a Mexican-modeled one-party sham.
