Why do Trump supporters think that Muller's team takes any utterance by anyone as gospell? Especially the guys who flipped?
Muller's team is going to take what the guys who flipped, Flynn, Gates, Papadopoulos, and others like Nunberg, Bannon, Page, et. al. said, take all of the other witness testimony, all the documents they've collected, and compare them all against one another to determine what likely happened, who is telling the truth, who is lying and who is just making stuff up.
Muller's team is not going to take one statement from one person as fact or discount their credibility without corroborating it against an entire database of statements and evidence. For the guys that have flipped, their stories are going to checked out 9 ways to Sunday to ensure they are living up to their end of the deal and not trying to pull a fast one over on them.
The other thing Mueller will do is compare Nunberg's stuff with what he already has in his collection to see what Sam leaves out. That alone is valuable information as to what he might have been up to.
Mueller already has emails form Gates, Manafort, Bannon, and probably Hicks for sure, and maybe from everyone on the list. If Sam tries to get cagey, he may end up caging himself. It's a "Dirty Harry" moment for Nunberg, who has to decide whether Mueller's gun has abother bullet in it when he turns his emails over.

Yes, that's the thing. What's the old adage? Never ask a question in front of a jury that you don't already know the answer to?
I think Stone or Bannon reached out to him and put a bug in his ear.
His actions yesterday do sort of have Stone and Bannon tactics written all over them. You know: try to divert people with so much grandstanding that they forget the question they're asking.
Except Nunberg is not quite the master of that tactic that Bannon and Stone both are.
I'm pretty sure Mueller already knew that about Nunberg though.
Nunberg has destroyed any shred of credibility he had so any testimony will be worthless. Stop wasting taxpayer money on this charade.
Another one who thinks Muller is going to take at face value whatever someone says. I'll refer you to my previous post:

See, no waste of money.
Because some of what all of these people of interest said will be compared to those who are not involved in any potential crimes or cover-ups and have only testified as to what they witnessed and documents that have been seized or procured.
Well, that's one way to get out of turning over all the documents this Friday.
