The Increasing Unfitness of Donald Trump
By David Remnick

What made the Emperor Nero tick ... was “a longing for immortality and undying fame, though it was ill-regulated.” Many Romans were convinced that Nero was mentally unbalanced... Chaotic, corrupt, incurious, infantile, grandiose, and obsessed with gaudy real estate, Donald Trump is of a Neronic temperament. He has always craved attention. Now the whole world is his audience...

In the meantime, there is little doubt about who Donald Trump is, the harm he has done already, and the greater harm he threatens. He is unfit to hold any public office, much less the highest in the land. This is not merely an orthodoxy of the opposition; his panicked courtiers have been leaking word of it from his first weeks in office. The President of the United States has become a leading security threat to the United States.

The funniest part of the whole thing is that "The Orange Crusader" has been able to turn half the nation into basket cases by doing... not much of anything. I've seen no huge changes in my daily life besides slightly lower taxes, slightly higher pay, and the removal of a totalitarian mandate. Interesting the way that turns some people into basket cases.

Really, conservative Republicans should be concerned (and unlike calling someone I disagree with "moronic", I say this with respect and decorum towards people of that particular worldview).

The issue goes well beyond political party or outlook and into a job-related core competency of the President of the United States, which includes the ability to communicate strongly but do so while having proper self control and tact. In a Presidential role, a lack of tact is a threat.

Let me fix that for you:

In a Republican presidential role, a lack of submissiveness is a threat.

And............ YES, yes it is a threat. A threat to your agenda.

The bigger threat is childish behavior by Dems who act so predictably like a five year old who's ice cream fell of the cone. They actually think that words if expressed with eloquence are better than actions that produce desired results.
They would be better off as poets not politicians.

That's how you get published. Take a topic a specific media organization embraces and feed them what they want to hear.
Ever see the clint eastwood movie a fist full of dollars?

Why do you think wall st paid Hillary so much money. she told them what they wanted to hear.

Pelosi is unbalanced, Hillary is unbalanced. Bernie is unbalanced. William Jefferson who thought guam would tip over is unbalanced. Sheila Jackson lee is unbalanced. Corey booker is unbalanced bordering on hysterical. Any concern about these legislators?

Obama was the guy who most fits the nero description. Denying Russia is our enemy, thinking isis was the jv team and celebrating his decision to not follow up on his redline threat and calling it a courageous decision. Losing 500 million taxpayer dollars and saying it was a good investment.

Seriously, why the rest of you don't have our "mermaidronic" OP on ignore is a mystery to me.
