Oh please- spoken like a true coward.
You don't have the grapes to take on a field mouse without a shotgun. If you saw an elephant up close you'd faint.
Come to Australia and hunt our water buffalo, scrub bulls, Bentang cattle.
Or even just spend month in the Outback, with ALL its dangerous creatures. Takes REAL courage to do that as opposed to some guided hunt of a gentle giant with a weapon like THAT.
While Trump supporters are trying to convince people the elephants are better off dead and killing them is for their own good:
"Around 20,000 African elephants were killed last year for their tusks, more than were born. Chinese wealth is financing a hunger for ivory that threatens to bring an end to wild elephants within our lifetime."

Then go start your own thread....this is not about anything you've stated....
Exactly. Legal hunting of large game keeps populations under control. Populations that get out of control often starve and their violence escalates, including violence against people.
Legal hunting also puts money into local economies and routinely feeds large numbers of usually very poor people.
I don't feel the need to hunt an elephant but I don't knock those who do.
Kinda like The Purge except for animals- for now. Are elephants REALLY overpopulated?
Takes a coward to deliberately hunt down an elephant with a gun like that

McFly? Hello McFly- Thread is about big game hunting- that poster talked about big game hunting, and I responded with a comment about big game hunting. I even mentioned elephants like in the OP.People reply to specific posts here all the time.
You gun nuts have no problem ripping on those that prefer a little fairness and sportsmanship in regards to your gun use in non self- defense situations. And you REALLY don't like being called out on your gun-dependent machismo, especially against animals who have only what nature have them to defend themselves.

I've seen your canned hunts there, no different. Hunting over water.
ETA: the article you cite was written in 2016. So the year they are referencing is 2015. When OBAMA was President, not Trump.
and I believe it was OBAMA who put restrictions on importing 'trophies'!
I mean, those scum were missing out on the best part; having an elephant or giraffe head hanging on the wall. they could take pictures, sure, but I bet it wasn't the same as having the 'dead' proof.
elephants form strong family ties; they can tell the differences in human languages; they recognize themselves in a mirror; they mourn their dead. they are of a much higher order than a chicken or cow.
