I think this is just a case of the little guy throwing poop at the big guy. It's all good.
Everything starts with a dream
You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity . . . . What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving . . . . The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else . . . .. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation . . . .You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
Bit by bit these moves are putting the clamps on II. For one you won't see people standing around parking lots like they did for many many years. My wife can go to home depot without being mobbed.
Not being played. I know how little the fed is doing. But when they do take action, as small as it may be, California obstructs them. That was my point.
As you note, they are doing nothing but you want to blame California. It isn't California's job. You are being played.
??? California is projected to have a $6.1 billion surplus next fiscal year or July 1. Our unemployment rate is around 2%. I'm not sure where you are coming from exactly. CA bails out the little states every year. I think this is just a case of the little guy throwing poop at the big guy. It's all good.

I'm not sure what this quote has to do with what I wrote or with the OP??? Cutting off my statement does not strengthen yours - whatever that may be. Good luck...
Yes it is. They picked a little low hanging fruit and blamed Oakland for not getting a little more. Where were the raids on businesses where the vast majority of illegals are? Where are the arrests of those who are hiring them? Where are the fines?
