Situation normal for America.

Maybe thoughts and prayers will work this time?

Sarcasm aside, terrible situation. We are paying the price for terrible mental health care and nasty cultural stigmas concerning mental health. Oh, and every mental midget being able to get a weapon.

I have a bad feeling that it's going to be a PTSD veteran that felt he wasn't getting the help he needed.

The initial report was that he was "already known to police." In California, anyone known to have any emotional issues is not allowed to possess a gun. Even if it belongs to another person in the home--no guns allowed in home.

I'm hoping this isn't going to be yet another--the police knew he was having issues, should have picked up his guns and didn't.

Hopefully it will all come out in the next couple of days, but I'm seeing people already talking about "we need more gun laws." I'm thinking we need to actually enforce the ones we already have before we start talking about new ones.

Edit--the three people killed were all employees of the private PTSD counseling office.

We never enforce existing laws. It's much easier for politicians to layer on new useless ones. .... or blame a piece of iron.

Plus it's easier to use fear-mongering to push for every life form to be allowed to carry. We know that of anyone REALLY pushed to enforce ALL existing laws to the letter, you ammosexuals would get your knickers in a knot, as ANY gun law is unacceptable for many of you types. Handguns and shotguns don't give you the feeling of power and total control that the more sophisticated weapons do, and for most of you, that's the ONLY way you get that power and control in your daily lives

Quit trying to police the world.

Quit fighting multiple wars of aggression in nearly a dozen countries.

Bring home ALL the troops, close down ALL the bases, and we won't be creating any more soldiers with PTSD.

Get the ones who need help the proper care they need.

Does that go for cops as well?

According to the police report, Brailsford was carrying an AR-15 rifle with the phrase “You’re F—ed” etched into the weapon. The police report also said the “shots were fired so rapidly that in watching the video at regular speed, one cannot count them.”

Graphic video shows Daniel Shaver sobbing and begging officer for his life before 2016 shooting
