"Our analysis of special counsel probes in the modern era, starting in 1971 shows that the fact that Mueller’s investigation has produced criminal charges at all sets it apart — a majority of the investigations over the past four decades ended without charges being filed against anyone. Moreover, in the inquiries that produced criminal charges, the first occurred more than a year, on average, after the special prosecutor was appointed — while Mueller’s investigation produced its first charges after less than five months."

"Historically, major special counsel investigations that have led to charges have lasted for years."

Get over it snowflakes, and get used to it: trump crime family and organization are being dismantled methodically and it will not end any time soon.

Your "no collusion" whining, characteristic of snowflakes who can't handle the investigation, is premature given the investigation is not even half through yet and you know next to nothing about it.

It takes your average local police department months to go through the process of simply determining whether somebody's growing and selling pot.

A possible international conspiracy is a little more complicated of an investigation, and the expectations for a set timeline are silly.

Why don't you all give us a compelling platform so that we can decide whether or not it is worth voting for? If your ideas are so great, sell us on them.
Here's a novel idea, Republicans - put your country above your party, and focus on its future as a democracy.

This!

Mueller has so many Russian guns smoking, that he needs to proceed quite cautiously so as not to trip the release too prematurely.

The loop radius of the lasso is getting smaller...

I take any news reports that claim to know what Mr. Mueller is thinking or contemplating with a huge grain of salt. Mr. Mueller has been remarkably closed-mouth, as has his staff.

A lot of these opinions about what he will, or will not do, are from people outside of the investigation, such as in the Bloomberg article.

There used to be an active thread herein, I guess begun a year or so ago, by an optimistic person proclaiming that the investigation would be over in the matter of weeks, or at least by the summer of 2017. Did not work out, despite claiming some story citing 'sources' not part of the investigation.

Mind, I am not denigrating 'sources'. We have had numerous anonymous sources within the White House (anonymous so they could frankly speak), whose prognostications often proved correct (people leaving and such). Of course, I recall Watergate, and how often anonymous sources proved to be correct.

Mueller and his team? If nothing else, they should be congratulated for keeping quiet.

I wonder what Mueller has to think every time there's a minor development and Trump is immediately blowing up Twitter claiming vindication. "NO COLLUSION!!"

Despite t he fact that Mueller has the entire resources of the federal government at his disposal. This farce of an investigation should have been over long ago..He is just wasting time and taxpayer funds for his showboating..

Why, because you and Trump think it should be?

Take this article for what it is: an attempt by Trump's circle to build a narrative about this investigation that is entirely unrelated to the actual investigation that is proceeding.
This is laughable. Every time another Mueller leak comes to light I enjoy coming here to post "Remember Mueller runs a tight ship and there are no leaks". I've now made that same post at least a dozen times over the past year. His investigation is a sieve & only the blind would claim otherwise.

Please. farce of a investigation? People are going to go to prison. And his resources are in fact limited, the federal government doesnt have magical wands that reveals all. This takes time and work.

Wasting time and money? That was Benghazi. millions spent, years of effort...and NOTHING.

Mueller has people pleading guilty already.

The investigation of the Clintons real estate deals took years. But suddenly since its your guy on the throne, these things need to be done instantly? Really?
