.........He apparently didn't have a firearm because he blew himself up. You'd think a person would commit suicide in a more quick and sure method rather than blow himself up and risk surviving or at least a slow painful death..........
They put this all together fairly fast. The FedEx explosion was less than a week ago.
They traced the explosion in the FedEx facility to this UPS store. Security camera footage narrowed it down to certain receipts.
Wonder how they got from the receipts to his Google searches and cell phone.
It seems LEO found/recovered an un-exploded bomb at FedEx. That was 'reverse engineered" and the potential source of at least some of the components was determined.
Assuming he ordered some of these components by phone or on-line, they had to paid for by some means and delivered somewhere which would help identify him.
No one has said yet who he is by name, or his address etc. That will be next, with LEO picking his home apart and determining where the bombs were assembled so possibly another location. Of course they will be looking for 'manifestos' or any other evidence trying to determine his motive etc.
I just hope there are no other bombs still circulating and no one else gets injured or killed.
Would Fox add descriptions if he was identified as a Muslim? Or any other group besides white? Would CNN and NBC add the race of the suspect if he had not been white or would they have tossed "Muslim" if known?
We know next to nothing about this dead bomber, save for being 24 years old and a white male.
This being Texas, he may have belonged to any number of 'fringe' groups, or simply a budding Unibomber. Some have suggested that he targeted Federal Express, which I doubt.
Indeed, one theory of mine is that he was a Federal Express worker, and that he had at first, during his delivery route, simply brought along his own bomb-packages, delivering such at the first few homes.
Since the initial news (which, of course, is always subject to change), indicated that the first victims found the boxes on their doorsteps, with each package exploding upon movement or being picked up, it casts doubt that these packages went through the Federal Express system. He must have placed the first few packages on the porches (and, if a Fed Ex worker, would not seem out of place), set the trigger, and left.
No doubt after the first few bombings, he realized he could not continue doing such, since it would be suspicious that each bomb package was delivered by the same driver. Hence, he resorted to the 'trip wire', then moved on to mailing the packages.
That was a striking image of him at a Fed Ex office, dropping off a package: did the clerk not think it strange that he was wearing gloves and what appears to be a white wig? Of course, that probably helped track him down, using the surveillance camera images.
So why was he also also targeting FED EX? Was it because they came out supporting the 2nd Amendment?

We'll have to see where they pigeonhole this guy. Right wing crazy, left wing crazy or none of the above if they can't get any political gain from him.
He may have wanted to take as many people with him as he could.

Could you please post the link to the photo of him in a white wig.
I too am surprised that the employee didn't report someone wearing gloves dropping off a package, particularly with all the that's been in the news.
