More, and more evidence is coming out that the Russian collusion story was manufactured by the Obama administration.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper allegedly leaked information to CNN early last year regarding the classified briefings given to then President-Elect Donald Trump and President Barrack Obama on the salacious dossier claiming the Russians had compromising information on the president-elect, according to government sources, who noted the evidence of the leak was collected during the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation.

But according to government sources Clapper, who is not mentioned in the report released Monday, had spoken to CNN at roughly the same time Jake Tapper broke the first story regarding the briefings conducted by senior intelligence officials with Trump and Obama on the dossier. Tapper’s story, which published in January 2017, created a snowball effect of allegations in the media that Trump’s campaign had allegedly colluded with the Russians in the 2016 election and that Russia had compromising material on Trump, sources with knowledge of the investigation concluded.

There is a reason, both Brennen & Clapper to be openly discussing the assassination of Trump. They fear what was suppose to stay hidden, when Hillary was put into office.

They all thought Hillary was going to win. She didn't, so this was an attempt to discredit/smear/malign the legitimate winner, Trump.

Trying to cover up the misdeeds of Obama and the high up personnel.
Yes, that is the January 4th meeting in this timeline.

January 4 2017- Clapper, DOJ, FBI officials meet with Obama at the White House to discuss the Russian investigation (Confirmed by Susan Rice email)

January 5 2017- Comey briefs Trump on dossier claims (Confirmed by media reports, and Comey's memos)

January 6-7 2017- Clapper leaks to CNN, and media reports about the Russian conspircy theory begin. (Confirmed by House Intel Committee report)

Clapper admitted to the House Intel Committee that he leaked to CNN. They aren't using sources, they spoke directly to Clapper himself.

Clapper has been caught lying in sworn testimony more than once, already. I would not put it past him to lie here, too.

Hmm what's the difference between leaking classified information to the American people as a whistle blower or say Trump leaking classified information to the Russian's in the oval office without going through the right protocols to release classified information? Lets add insult to injury by forbidding American press and only allowing Russian media in to cover Trump back slapping with the Russian's. Then lets hear about it on Putin TV.

Clapper? A patriot? Trump a traitor? Makes you think doesn't it?

The problem with your post is that there is no evidence of any wrongdoing by Trump.

On the other hand, we know Clapper was leaking to the media to create a false narrative, then lied about to congress.

Clapper was a lying scum bag long before Trump became relevant.

Geezus, do you people delight in posting lie, after lie, after lie. You KNOW you can't believe a word out of "intelligence committee" these days.

They are bootlicking partisans.
The media had held back on the dossier because it lacked credibility. Clapper and other officials used their clout to get the information out by allowing the media to use unnamed intelligence sources as vouching for its credibility.

You mention Brennan.

'Former CIA Director John Brennan ripped President Donald Trump on Saturday for his attacks on former DNI chief James Clapper, who was cited in a House Intelligence Committee report for his role in the release of an unsubstantiated Russian dossier shortly before Trump's inauguration last year.'

When Brennan's in the crosshairs, who'll vouch for his integrity, honesty, and morality ? Susan Rice, Judge Contreras, Chris Steele ?
