The House Intelligence Committee found not evidence of Russian collusion, but it did in fact find evidence that James Clapper may have leak the dossier story to the media.
This kind of breach from such a senior member of the intelligence community is a direct threat to our national security.
More, and more evidence is coming out that the Russian collusion story was manufactured by the Obama administration.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper allegedly leaked information to CNN early last year regarding the classified briefings given to then President-Elect Donald Trump and President Barrack Obama on the salacious dossier claiming the Russians had compromising information on the president-elect, according to government sources, who noted the evidence of the leak was collected during the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation.
But according to government sources Clapper, who is not mentioned in the report released Monday, had spoken to CNN at roughly the same time Jake Tapper broke the first story regarding the briefings conducted by senior intelligence officials with Trump and Obama on the dossier. Tapper’s story, which published in January 2017, created a snowball effect of allegations in the media that Trump’s campaign had allegedly colluded with the Russians in the 2016 election and that Russia had compromising material on Trump, sources with knowledge of the investigation concluded.
didn't Clapper already lied under oath in Congress about the government spying on Americans?.....why is this guy walking as a free man and being used as an "expert" and source of the truth at CNN it's beyond me.
The Russian dossier had been floating around for months and no one in the media would touch it because it was unverified & frankly, hard to believe. Clapper goes to CNN to leak classified information, that Obama & Trump had been briefed on the Russian dossier. The briefing story then became a news story, which was the impetus to publish the unproven Russian dossier story by the entire MSM. A clear attempt to damage the Trump administration.
Sara Carter is doing interesting reporting. I'd like to see what she has to say about Rice, Powers and Comey.

Yes, you are correct, Clapper lied to congress while under oath.
Clapper even wrote a letter apologizing to congress for lying.
It's hard to understand why this guy wasn't impeached, and prosecuted.

How do you explain why CNN know about Comey telling Trump about the dossier? There were only a few people present, Clapper was one of them, and there is evidence Clapper contact CNN at that time.

Clapper, who is now a contributor at CNN, contacted CNN shortly before the story was published. Shortly after CNN published the report, Buzzfeed made the decision to post the entire 35-page dossier and referenced the CNN report in its decision to publish it, according to the website.
