Trump has been in office for a year -- why is it taking him sl long to put his 'strong, working' team in.
He said he could do this. He's 1/4 of the way through his first term and still adjusting?
Do any of you have business experience? Ever work in a startup? Ever been part of a new division pushing a new product?
Trump is a businessman, not a politician. He doesn't think like a politician, that's why so many of us like him. Tillerson fought Trump's agenda...so he's out and Pompeo's in. Trump isn't going to let his SoS run roughshod over him the way Hillary did anything she wanted under Obama.
You libs just miss the feckless and ineffective no-drama-Obama.
Tillerson was a sane and reasonable guy who did his best under insane circumstances. Pompeo strikes me as a flake and a bootlicker so he should fit right in.
I'm surprised to see Trump actually fire someone, his reality show tagline notwithstanding. He seems to prefer that people get the hint and resign. So either Tillerson did something really egregious, or Trump is growing a pair.
BentBow -- can you explain the practice of hiring people that don't support the President's agenda only to fire them a year later and then put 'in the right team'.
Either the President is a terrible judge of character or this is the most illogical hiring strategy in the history of hiring strategies?
