Sure, but their media fed hatred of Hillary was more important then having a competent President in office.

Bingo. You can learn a lot about a person by how well liked they are by people they have power over.

Trump is a businessman, not a politician. He doesn't think like a politician, that's why so many of us like him. Tillerson fought Trump's agenda...so he's out and Pompeo's in. Trump isn't going to let his SoS run roughshod over him the way Hillary did anything she wanted under Obama.

You libs just miss the feckless and ineffective no-drama-Obama.
You keep saying that but you're the only ones who keep mentioning Obama.

Trump's floundering from quicksand to quagmire and you people keep blowing kisses his way.

Regardless of party preference, to find out via Twitter of your firing, is just a mockery of the Office and totally disrespectful. This is not the Apprentice show.

Did not mention or thank Trump at all.

Prepare for scathing memoirs from Tillerson.
My bookshelf is ready.

It is disgraceful treatment of the nation's chief diplomat.

He's a lousy businessman, who didn't have to answer to anyone because it was a private company. He's declared bankruptcy several times, not paid his debts to contractors, has put his name on everything including Chinese made ties, used Chinese steel for his buildings, defrauded the people he got to sign up at his "Trump University..." and those are just off the top of my head.

He's known by many people who have worked with this "businessman" to be a cheater, a con man, a pathological liar. He brags about being able to get away with sexual assault. And you think that makes a great president? Really?

I feel sorry for him, really. He does not deserve this treatment. He carried out his duties with class and dignity, and was one of the adults on the Trump team. He endured a great deal of unwarranted insults from the president, and grandstanding from others on the team. He was pre-empted from his position on more than one occasion by the president. I realize that State was understaffed at the top, but I think that Trump wants it that way. Fair winds and following seas, to you, Mt. Tillerson!

Another person is leaving the WH. It was announced today that John McEntee, the President's personal aide was booted yesterday because his security clearance was revoked. But the President is giving him a job in the campaign, as Senior Adviser for Campaign Operations.

I started a new thread on this new firing with a link to more information:
