Too bad for anyone who voted for Trump thinking Hillary was going to jail.

I wish they could both be in jail, but it's clear that's not happening.

Rachel Maddow is going to need a bigger board. And a smaller font. Again.

They approve of everything their Dear Leader says and does. Honest question: have Trump supporters ever been critical of a single decision he has made? Even one? Nope. He can do no wrong in their eyes, and Trump knows this. He could shoot someone........wait, he already said that, didn’t he?

Trump is a businessman, not a politician. He doesn't think like a politician, that's why so many of us like him. Tillerson fought Trump's agenda...so he's out and Pompeo's in. Trump isn't going to let his SoS run roughshod over him the way Hillary did anything she wanted under Obama.

You libs just miss the feckless and ineffective no-drama-Obama.
Trump was a poor businessman which anyone who has followed his career in the news would know. It seems people not familiar with Trump did not know the string of litigation that he used to threaten small contractors and that followed Trump. And then there was Trump U...

And a good businessman is not afraid to acknowledge that he's not an expert in everything and defers to people who are smarter than himself in certain areas. That's is the purpose of an SoS. To be the top diplomat and expert in foreign relations. Clinton didn't run roughshod over Obama. On the contrary, other countries knew that Clinton spoke for Obama. Other countries now know that no one speaks for Trump and not to really bother with the SoS or ambassadors or any other representative of the US government. They now know Trump is capricious, mercurial and does not listen to his advisers.

Perhaps it's just a case of hiring the worst people, or perhaps it is a case of people working for the worst boss.

Perhaps both.
Well, Chuck Schumer was not going to let that happen. Trump got the best through Chuck would allow.

A simple majority- 51 votes is all that is needed to confirm. Republicans hold 51 seats. Not a single Democrat or Independent vote is necessary.

This is a very poor excuse you are making for your idol.

Most of the vacancies in government are a result of the white house not having nominated anyone, and McConnell runs the senate, not Schumer, so they would get their approvals in most cases if they would just receive the nominations.

All cabinet posts were approved long ago, the nominations came from Trump and the Republican senate allowed him those choices. So it is entirely on Trump and you can blame all of those billionaires controlling your government on him.
