No, I'm not saying 4.3% is bad, I'm saying that rate is in the bottom half of US states....that's factual. also that California's unemployment rate was 12.2% when Democrats last controlled all 3 branches of the US government...and that is bad or do you think 12.2% unemployment is good?

That is obviously a claim that the unemployment rate in CA is bad. "In the bottom half" means you don't think so highly of it. Try to spin that all you want, and try to claim you were just stating a fact, but you are clearly stating it is not good.

Then immediately afterwards, you tell us that 4.3% is down to a record low. Yes, you are contradicting yourself! You are simultaneously telling us California's unemployment rate is bad, and is good.
And ... once again ... you are:
1. Not giving "Gov Moonbeam" credit for the low unemployment rate, while you had no problem blaming him for the high unemployment rate. To wit:

You see ... Jerry Brown was governor - and their legislature was controlled by democrats - BOTH when CA's unemployment rate was at its highest, AND at its lowest! But, completely hypocritically, you only blame him (and the CA democrats) when it was high, you don't also give them credit for subsequently getting it down to record lows, even though they were in power BOTH times.
2. You are conveniently ignoring the fact that, as CA's unemployment rate began rising in Jan 2007 when CA's governor was a republican, AND republicans controlled both the presidency and half of congress. That is, the balance of power was in republican hands while CA's unemployment rate began its rise. And it continued that way for another two years.

So yes, you WERE saying California's unemployment rate is bad. That is a clear and unambiguous conclusion from the above post. So, when you just told me, "No, I'm not saying 4.3% is bad," that is a blatant and obvious lie.
You are simply the champion of cherry-picking which side you want to give credit and blame to.
Worst income in equality
Most homeless in the country
Most on welfare in the country
Unfunded state pension plans
Most inmates on death row
Most illegals, by far
California sure is boomin, just not for the people liberals say they care about.
Did they falsify the unemployment rate like Obama did by not counting all the people who gave up and stopped looking for work?
We were told by a certain crowd, that California was going to pot because of all the liberals. And the regulations. And the homeless. And because it's so expensive.
San Francisco's issue with homelessness is the result of many factors, but income disparity plays a major role.
In the metro area, the average income of the top one percent of households was $3.6 million in 2013, a study from the California Budget and Policy Centre showed.
That amount was 44 times the average income of the bottom 99 percent -who earned on average $81,094.
The study showed San Francisco had the highest rate of income disparity by a wide margin - the city was trailed by Los Angeles, where the top one per cent was earning 32.8 times more than the 99 per cent.
High incomes in the Silicon Valley and tax breaks for tech startups throughout the city mean some of the world's biggest technology companies call San Francisco home.
In 2015, Curbed reported while 64,000 new jobs had come to the city, only 5,000 new homes had been built.
In February, Apartment List revealed San Francisco had the highest rent in the USA, with a one bedroom apartment costing on average $2,440 a month...
I've been to San Francisco many times, especially as a kid. It was nice, but it was not "$2400 for a 1 bdrom apart" nice.
The left is the first to cry about "income inequality" and blame it on Republicans, but CA is not a Republican state, and has some of the dumbest politicians to ever live. Yet, the left refuses to see the problems, and continues to vote themselves right into the gutter just so they can claim, "But we have jobs!" Time to get people interested in STEM than some major that will see them earning $10.50/hour greeting people at Wally World. Yes, I know, "those are real majors". Enjoy the tent.
The number of those living in the streets and shelters of the city of L.A. and most of the county surged 75% — to roughly 55,000 from about 32,000 — in the last six years.

Please stop making yourself a fool I never said or insinuated Cali's current unemployment rate (now under a Republican controlled nation) was bad but I pointed out that it's factually correct that Cali has an unemployment higher than the national average.
When Dims controlled the nation and Cali in 2010, their unemployment rate was 12.2%.....that's factual and to try to say otherwise is foolishly ignorant.
