They got it from a New York news source. They live in New York. They may pull back after this story came out but the sources are the Trump Jr. family friends who say they are never ever together and haven't been for quite some time. The wife didn't even come to his birthday party.
Remember, when Republicans were screaming about where all the White House leaks were coming from, it turned out they were coming from Trump himself, who spent every day calling all his friends and spilling his guts. Maybe Trump Sr. is the source.
