You want him to build his family? He already has five kids. They're not Mormons or Catholics. She probably couldn't deal with the relentless harassment of the presstitutes and then the crazy Bernie supporter sending her that white powder in an envelope was the last straw. Or, here is an interesting thought, maybe they were worried about the safety of the kids so decided to split to make themselves a smaller target. The jackals will move on to another Trump target whom they deem vulnerable.

I didn't take desertdetroiter's comment to mean adding to his family, I took it to mean building on the quality of his family life/continuing to build the quality of those relationships. It seems as though at one time he had a pretty good handle on being a good hands on father....and possibly a handle on being a decent husband. It seems as though now he has let that slip away....when he likely didn't have to. Ivanka and Don Jr are reportedly worth 300 million + each. Even if that is exaggerated and it is only 100 million, it is certainly enough for a father of five to put whatever time and energy he needs to to have a healthy family life.

Seems....possibly...key words from my post. As in seems publicly (Television, stuff that shows up on the Yahoo, MSN, AT&T, AOL, etc homepages, etc.). I don't read gossip magazines. I know a few people in the entertainment industry (no one who knows Trump), and a few well known business people in other industries, but zero politicians...unless you count the ones in my own family . One retired after he lost his last race, another is taking a break from political activity to concentrate on something else (and she is much more to the left than most people on the left on this board...even with my issue by issue perspective, I don't think I'd enjoy any of her friends in politics), and a third was contemplating a run for Congress, but passed away before taking that step. All of my family members who are alive (a number who have passed away knew politicians on both sides), and currently know politicians...they pretty much know Democrats, so they likely wouldn't know Trump. One was a very prominent partner at a major international law firm in DC back when Trump was a Democrat (they also had an office in NYC). He may have met Trump/had some dealings with him in those days...IDK. There are certainly areas of life where I lack skill, but my intuition has usually been pretty good. I've also found that the more I view things in a calm manner, with as calm an attitude as possible, the more accurately I see them. I imagine desertdetroiter sees something at least slightly similar...however small...re what Trump Jr. might have been able to salvage (had he kept his nose away from his father's political life and concentrated on his own nuclear family), else I don't think DD would have written that particular post.
Although I'm no admirer of Trump or his family, I'm saddened to read this. It appeared until recently, Vanessa and D, Jr. were pretty happy. She just had a baby not long ago. Five kids is quite a commitment on her part to a marriage. Something must have gone very wrong. Casualty of this presidency, apparently - per articles he's gone too much and the nature of his tweets - unhinged like his father's. Guess Vanessa didn't want a clone of DJT as a husband. Five kids - it's a shame. I, too, think Ivanka and Jared may end up that way, as well. I really don't like him - he looks like a weasel.

The guy should’ve stayed out of politics and raised his family. I’m not talking about adding to his brood.
His marriage is tanking because he’s taken on a life that his wife clearly didn’t bargain on. I’m sure that when she married him, high profile politics wasn’t in the cards.

BTW...Trump’s kids aren’t anywhere near worth that kind of dough. I’d venture that each could get their hands on a few million MAX! Trump can’t even get his hands on 300 million dollars. If he could grab 30 or 40 million right now, I’d be shocked.
