Every time POTUS tweets he is adding to McCabe's case for reinstatement of his pension. It is a political firing of a civil servant. The case will be fun to watch.

I think they acted so stupidly because they were so sure HIllary was going to be president and thus no consequences.
If McCabe was not fired for lack of candor or deception, whatever he may have done would have to be serious to be fired almost 2 days before retirement. Then again, an employer can fire an employee at will. I think the exception to the prev. point is if it's discrimination-related.
Its interesting that the corrupt rats in the intel community are outing themselves responding to the the firing of McCabe. None more so than Former CIA Chief Brennan. His comments and answers to questions by congress and Trey Gowdy are in the crosshairs. His response now to the firing of McCabe shows he was political and part of the anti-Trump cabal to undermine the office of the president.
If they wanted to fire him for whatever reason, it should have been done much earlier...just disgusting to make the guy wait until 24 hrs or so prior to retirement.
That is just Trump vindictiveness....
They could have pulled his fingernails out one at a time but waiting for due process has its advantages.
