Libertarians are the only Constitutional Party left. The only party that supports the notion that citizens should be free to do as they please as long as they hurt no others in the process. It's in our mission statement.

Actually, you only need a third, but it isn't "neither"...see above!

Libertarianism is a philosophy. The basic premise of libertarianism is that each individual should be free to do as he or she pleases so long as he or she does not harm others. ... Libertarians believe in individual liberty, personal responsibility and freedom from government – on all issues at all times…

Neither.

Both are two sides of the same statist coin, both are fine with using the force of government to legislate morality.

The fact that they have somewhat different notions of morality is irrelevant.

I think Republicans THINK their party is the party of live and let live but they legislate differently not less than the Democrats.

Same idea as with the finances.

Republicans THINK their party is about less govt., spending less -- but it isn't -- they just spend differently.

Libertarians. But if I had to pick a party, I'd say Democrats.

Democrats, over the last few decades have become Far Left Progressive Statists, and Globalists.

They promote:

Illegal aliens, and Open Borders
Higher Taxes
More big government programs
Removal of Constitutional Rights like the 2A
Concept of "hate speech" which removes 1A rights
Hoax of man made climate change
World government making representation farther, and farther away and less accountable
Onerous, unnecessary regulation
Income, and Wealth redistribution
Support of violent BLM, and ANTIFA
Removal and white washing of history

They are noting but control freaks, and communists in progressive clothing.

They both suck in this regard but I said republicans. Why?

The religious right have lost so much ground over my lifetime, that I view them as essentially powerless, and therefore, harmless. And this is a good thing.

The democrats, on the other hand, have the social justice warriors in their camp, and they have been steadily on the rise, telling us what we can think and say. They are young, and they will be leading this country one day. That is a scary thought to me. Then we have the nanny-state Democrats who try to tell us what to eat and drink. They legislate the size a soft drink can be. I could smoke as much pot as I want in front of them (if I was into that sort of thing), and that is good, but if I try to light up a nice Cuban cigar in public, forget about it.
