Sounds like he has all the good qualities that would make a good liberal democrat appointment, only he is on the other end of the political spectrum. Is that the problem ? Looks a lot like Susan Rice in quality. Maybe he just needs a video to blame.

DiGenova was an OK attorney, but he went off the deep end over the Valerie Plame thing. He and his wife (also named Valerie) started on conspiracy theories and after his being on CNN, he got kicked to the curb, which means, to Faux news.
He's as mad as a hatter these days with his nutty theories.
I'm glad trump has hired him....he will add nothing to trump's case. He is and always has been a publicity hog, so he may end up getting dumped by trump too.
That's just what Trump needs--another incompetent lawyer. For what purpose was this guy hired?
When he went looking for a lawyer a while ago none of them were interested because he doesn't listen and some knew that he didn't like to pay for services.
Joe DiGenova pushed a conspiracy theory that a secret group within the FBI concocted the Russia investigation in order to prevent Trump from becoming president.
Wondering whether he is also a birther.
Yes I know, how crazy.
I mean just because the very people who started the Russian investigation said "they couldn't take the chance Trump won, they needed an insurance policy" people go getting the idea that they created a fraudulent investigation.
Next thing you know people will say the FBI used unverified political opposition research to get a FISA warrant.

Probably Trump's other lawyers told Trump they can't do whatever Trump wants them to do.
