Not much difference between the two, both are using dictator strong-arm tactics.
1. Trump didn't fire anyone.

2. This "investigation" is a liberal strong-arm tactic, founded on shady Russian intel sourced through Russian collusion, to bring down an elected president. You have no moral high ground from which to critique any hypothetical resistance to it.

Turn all your evidence over to Mueller so far no one has seen any.

Enough with the talking points, and biased assumptions.
There's so many Russian guns smoking, there's no way you guys can still be blinded by your unswerving devotion to this treacherous, despotic, and conspiratorial idiot.

Here's all the evidence you need:

1) Michael Flynn (National Security Advisor)- Has had muliple business dealings in Russia for years. He has been photographed sitting next to Putin at several Russian venues. Especially one taken in 2015.
Flynn has been formally charged with failure to turn over Trump-related documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee and lying to the FBI about Russian contacts. He is currently under House Arrest. If convicted for conspiracy to defraud the government amongst other charges, he faces up to 15 years in prison.

2) Paul Manafort (Trump's Campaign Manager) - Charged with lying to the FBI about Russian contacts, Money laundering, Conspiracy to defraud the US government, and Illegally lobbying for Russia. Manafort too has lucrative business investments in Russia and has extensive ties to Oligarchs. Accused of laundering millions of dollars from Russia.

3) Richard Gates (Trump's Campaign Aide) - Business partner and right-hand man of Paul Manafort. Charged the same as Manafort with similar ties to Russian Oligarchy. Gates promises to cooperate with the Mueller investigation.

4) George Papadopoulos ( Trump's Foreign Affairs Advisor) - Charged with lying to FBI with regards to Russian contacts on multiple occasions. Currently taking Plea deal for cooperation.

5) Jeff Sessions (DOJ) - Had to recuse himself with respect to federal interviews concerning Russian contacts. He has already been briefed concerning conflicting statements concerning previous Russian contacts during the Trump Campaign. Jeff Sessions has deep business ties and investments in Russia.

6) Rex Tillerson (*Sec. of State) - This guy was CEO of Russian based Exxon Corporation for many years. After Russia invaded and annexed Crimea, the US implemented sanctions against Russia. Tillerson then, thumbed his nose at the US invoked sanctions. He quite blatantly ignored the sanctions and profited Exxon over 4 billion dollars as a result. Exxon was then fined 2 million for the violation. Tillerson has extensive business tie and investments in Russia. He is a personal friend to both Putin and his strong man Sechin.

7) Steve Bannon (Chief WH Strategist) - Alt-Right proponent who has promised to cooperate with the Mueller investigation. Bannon has also met with multiple Russian contacts and has extensive business investments in Russia. Thus far he has refused to answer key questions and has been instructed by the POTUS not to answer any questions or cooperate with the investigation in any manner.

8) Jared Kushner (Trump's Son-in-Law) - Accused of meeting with Russian contacts while in the company of Donald Trump Jr. and Russian Oligarch's son-in-law, Attorney Alex van der Zwaan, while Paul Manafort commented and took notes in the Trump Tower meeting.

Why are all of these guys meeting with Ruusians and lying about it?

What are they hiding?

Why are they all doing business in Russia?

What's the connection between these guys and the Russian Oligarchs?

Russian Oligarchs are all government and crime cronies locked at the hip along with Putin.
They're essentially an organized crime family. They often work in unison with one another.

Is Trump associated with Russian organized crime? Or -Is he just simply involved only in collusion with respect to the 2016 presidential election?

Of course he won. Russians love Putin. I’m glad Trump was diplomatic and gave him a call.

Do you think he told his bro not to meddle in our elections or asked him why he tried to kill 2 people in the UK?

No he did not, he called a dictator who locked up his opponent's before the election.

Just another example of a man who does not know what went on before him.

I am willing to bet that the US has “meddled” in the elections of most other countries on the planet. As for the spies, they kill each other. Our spies no doubt kill other spies too.

Well that's simply false! Trump has repeatedly endeared himself to Putin far too many times. He had been far too reluctant to implement sanctions against Russia for various infractions and seems to be quite aligned with Putin's agenda.

You also suggested that both the US and Russia are mutually engaged in election meddling.

Nothing could be further from the truth! The two countries are most certainly NOT on par with their levels of intrusive influences.

Russia hacked into American political leader's emails. They then cherry picked the ones most injurious to Hillary and released them to the public. The Russians then proceeded to flood social media with "Fake News", in order to either sway voters away from Hillary or towards Trump. They certainly waged an all out attack upon both Hillary Clinton and her husband, as they completely smeared the Clinton Foundation. Right-winged-Fox-news-Tea-Party drinkers are still sipping that Russian Kool-Aid today.

OTOH

All the US has done to influence Russian elections has been to financially assist NGO's that oppose the current Putin regime in one form or another...ie..GOLOS- exposes Russian voter fraud
and...Memorial- its the commitee sgainst torture in Russia

Thus far, that's just about the extent of our intrusional efforts to influence any election anywhere...

You my friend, are wearing the shades, NOT me!
Oh, for Pete's sake. The media freaked out when Obama did it. The media is freaking out now, when Trump did it. CONNECT THE DOTS. Those of you who think anything has changed are living in denial. Jeebus. Wake up. Trump is the same old, same old. He's no more evil or corrupt than any past president, including your beloved Obama.
