It already came to Broward County schools. They were one of the first to adopt the racial quota system of discipline in order to end the "school to prison pipeline for minorities" and when Obama was crowing about that particular SJW theory, he used Broward county as his shining example. This was well covered territory back in 2013-2014.
So it isn't coming, it's already here. Nikolas Cruz is one fine example of the program's unintended consequences.
Using "disparate impact" is almost always a bad thing imo.
However, lets look at the real irony here.
The report uses higher rates of black and Hispanic suspensions\expulsions and demands action.
However, boys are suspended\expulsed way more than girls but they aren't addressing that issue.
In short, they're picking and choosing where to apply their methodology and who is to be protected and who isn't based upon predetermined bias.
All wrapped up with a government bow on top....gender and race related discrimination, under the guise of doing the opposite.
What actually needs to be done is to keep records on WHY people got suspended etc. and then data-mine that to make sure punishments are being applied evenly. Giving kids a quick "race check" to decide how they get punished (or not) is never going to end well.
The saddest thing here is people getting paid by the state to come up with racist policies to "fight racism".
I saw this happen here while doing work a Brooklyn charter a school. A black American had beef with a Mexican. Is saw such with my own eyes. Black kid told the Mexican why don't you go back in to your country. Mexican said something back to an effect, but was trying to be passive. Black kid told the Mexican, shut up before I punch you back to Mexico. Black kid than out of nowhere punches the living daylight out of the Mexican kid. Mexican kid fell than a flight of stairs during after the punch and called the black kid you fu@#ing ni@@er. The Mexican kid would have never said what he said if he wasn't triggered by a bigoted black American youth. But guess who got the suspension and was sent home for a week? The Mexican kid. Why? He used the N word. The black American kid had so much suspensions, that administrators could no longer suspend him anymore. They gave the black American kid only detention. My heart went out to Mexican because he was punched and violently attacked and had racial slurs thrown at him first. How does one nasty slur out weights a punch, threats and racial slurs resulting in the Mexican getting suspended while an American only gets detention. The regressive liberals are treating justice in their own hands unfairly and it must come to a full stop. People are getting kicked out of college, fired from therr jobs and loose their rental agreements over emotional and wrong think free speech. Come on.

No irony or hypocrisy here from the progressive point of view. Blacks and Hispanics are protected classes, males are not. If females were suspended more than males your logic would apply. Males have no such protection on their own, neither do whites. Racism and sexism can only exist for protected classes therefore they are not fighting racism and sexism with more racism and sexism.
I'm not saying it is a logical point of view, but it is the progressive point of view.
