There hasn't been any compelling evidence that could lead to the conclusion that mass shooters are more likely to be conservative or liberal. But there is evidence that shows they are more likely to be male, mentally ill, and younger than the median age of Americans.
Actually there is quite a bit of evidence that shows that shootings from right wing folks have been going up. But they were going up even before Trump. They've been shooting more cops and citizens then ISIS. Think about that.
Used to be the left wing was the ones doing it in the 70's and 80's, now its switched.
And we're talking the extreme far right here. Lets not confuse them with Conservatives or Republicans. They arent the same folks at all. Same with the extreme far left in the 70's.
Considering that Dylann Roof’s crimes were committed in 2015, during the Obama administration, it’s safe to say that his mindset was clearly influenced by Obamism, rather than Trumpism.

Dylann Roof, Nikolaus Cruz, and now Mark Conditt are all conservatives who have committed mass murder. Is this is a new trend, violence from right wing extremists?

If so, then I guess the RNC failed to do it's duty by not discouraging this
